THEY NEEDED A SONG LIKE SALVAME THAT WAS ON THERE LAST CD. THE THING THAT THIS CD WAS MISSING WAS MORE SONGS. SOLO PARA TI- IT'S AN OKAY SONG, I GUESS. LEAVING ALL YOUR MEMORIES, FRIENDS BEHIND.
QUE HAY DETRAS- THIS SONG SOUNDS VERY ELECTRIC /ROCKISH. I LIKE THE WAY THE GUYS SING IN THIS SONG WAY BETTER THAN I EXPECTED. I LIKE THE WAY MAITE,DULCE, AND ANAHI SINGS IN THIS SONG. IT'S VERY BORING! IT JUST DOESNT DO MUCH FOR ME.įUERA- I LOVE THIS SONG! THIS IS MY 1ST FAVORITE SONG ON THIS CD. I LIKE THE WAY DULCE MARIA SINGS IN THIS SONG. BUT AFTER HEARING IT A COUPLE OF TIMES YOU START TO LIKE IT. 10/5ĪSI SOY YO- WHEN I FIRST HEARD THIS I DIDNT LIKE IT. 2/5įELIZ COMPLEANOS- THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS IN THIS CD. KELLY CLARKSON ORIGINALY SINGS THIS SONG ITS CALLED "GONE ", RBD SINGS IT IN SPANISH. NUESTRO AMOR- IS A GOOD SONG.SOUNDS MELLOW IN THE BEGING IN THE SONG THEN IT TURNS ROCKISH. BUT, IN THIS CD THEY ALL DO SING WAY BETTER. THEY SHOULD HAVE HAD MORE TIME FOR BETTER MATERIAL. I THINK IT WAS WAY TO SOON FOR THEM TO HAVE THEIR SECOND CD OUT. RBD'S 2ND CD IS GOOD, BUT THE 1ST CD IS WAY BETTER.THIS CD HAS SOME GOOD SONGS BUT NOT AS GOOD AS THE LAST ALBUM. RBD would be wise to get "gone" from the music scene and leave the pop fun to real singers. RBD's biggest offense? Turning Kelly Clarkson's otherwise vibrant Breakaway album track "Gone" into "Me Voy," an electro-dance mess. The instrumentation is glossy and mechanical at best, and the chirpy choruses sound like something you'd hear from a high-school choir while holiday shopping at the mall. The voices and the songs are completely indistinguishable and interchangeable. Each of the group's smiley-faced clones-Anahi, Dulce, Maite, Christian, Alfonso and Christopher-take turns as lead singer, but it hardly makes a difference. RBD sings on key and remembers the words, but the vocal skills on display in Nuestro Amor are woefully limited, even for this type of disposable Latin pop. Musically, the group is just a step above karaoke-unless you hit the bar on a particularly good night. RBD's music is plastic and innocuous, designed to tickle the fancies of young fans via flashy videos, fun clothes and Colgate smiles. The group of alleged actors and so-so singers shot to fame as stars of the teen soap opera Rebelde, and they've topped worldwide charts since spinning that into a musical career. Alfonso Herrera and Dulce María didn’t participate.Nuestro Amor is the third album in less than a year from photogenic pop sextet RBD. Four of the singers-Anahí, Maite Perroni, Christian Chávez, and Christopher von Uckermann-reunited in December 2020 for a virtual performance. As the six singers became involved in other activities, RBD announced in 2008 that they would disband the following year. RBD carried on after the telenovela ended in 2006, after three seasons. The group earned Latin Grammy nominations for Best Pop Album by a Duo/Group with Vocals in 20 for their albums Nuestro Amor and Empezar Desde Cero, respectively.Their first album, 2004’s Rebelde, was also released in an English-language version in 2006 titled Rebels. Three of the band’s five albums were released in Portuguese-language versions for RBD’s Brazilian audience. In Spain, they notched four Top 5 albums.
Each of the group’s five albums cracked the Top 5 in Mexico, and two reached No.
